How do I join my team’s MergeSafe organization?

Sign in to app.mergesafe.ai with GitHub, find your organization, and press Request to join; an Admin is told, and approves you as an Admin or a Member.

Rolling out. Requesting to join is being rolled out now. Until it reaches your organization, anyone who can see the organization’s installation on GitHub gets in as a Member.

Step by step

1. Sign in at app.mergesafe.ai with GitHub.
2. An organization you belong to on GitHub that already uses MergeSafe shows as “uses MergeSafe”, with a Request to join button. You see none of its data yet.
3. Each Admin gets an email and a notification in the app.
4. An Admin approves you as Admin or Member, and you get an email. If the request is turned down you aren’t told, and you can ask again after 30 days.

Other ways in

• An Admin can add you directly by your GitHub username.
• If your organization doesn’t use MergeSafe yet, install the GitHub App yourself and you are its first Admin. See Getting started.
